JobBOSS Gives Back
At JobBOSS we make it a priority to give back to the community; that includes the entire manufacturing industry and beyond. Our contributions include monetary donations, business software for educational use, and hands-on volunteer opportunities. We engage employees, partners, and customers to help support causes that directly impact our industry. As an organization, in 2015 we dedicated efforts for three main objectives:
We partnered with The Food Group, a local hunger relief nonprofit focused on healthy food access. The Food Group provides food and support services to over 200 hunger relief partners in Minnesota and the Midwest. In 2014, the JobBOSS office donated over 800 pounds of food and monetary gifts to further their fight against hunger.
We partnered with Anoka Technical College in Anoka, Minnesota by providing JobBOSS software as a learning tool for their Manufacturing Trades programs. Anoka Technical College implemented JobBOSS into the Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology program in September 2014. Graduating students have been recruited and hired by local manufacturers because of the practical training and skills they received through their use of JobBOSS software.
Inspire the Next Generation of Manufacturers
We partnered with the Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Foundation (NBT), the foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, Intl. The NBT inspires the next generation of manufacturers through manufacturing camps and scholarships. Utilizing social media and internal competitions, we raised funds during the 2015 JobBOSS Unite User Conference to help support the NBT programs.
